90s rave culture is hard to explain these days. Strangely, especially to the generation who came right after. I’m digging this video to 2007’s classic “My Angel” by Luna-C out again in an effort to do just that. Does the unbridled and passionate madness of hardcore just not speak to today’s youth, focused on their downtempo, controlled bass wobbles, or “retro” sounds? Sadly, perhaps I’m starting to show my age.
