3 Dreams of Black - Danger Mouse
I really enjoyed watching the new 3 Dreams of Black video by Danger Mouse. I’m very impressed with the possibilities presented by WebGL (though I’m really just an audio guy) and the future that the video itself promises. Beautiful, immersive, and fantastical! (now if only Google would choose some better music to along with their tech demos). I have to say though, with all of these demos of interactive music videos (such as last year’s Wilderness Downtown), I can’t help but see a huge similarity between those videos and RjDj’s approach to music. Music videos that you can interact with. Music that you can interact with. Perhaps it’s just time to combine to the two ideas into one. Music videos in which the music itself adapts as much as the video does.
